Quality Russian livejournals are hidden [from the non-Russian Internet] treasures.  This is a livejournal of a photographer who offers a unique view into Moscow and an occasional tropical destination.
I found him via English Russia, a site with so much misinformation that it’s barely worth linking.  They do, however, surface some great photos.  Just don’t read the captions.
The set with this particular photo is called “A House in Sokolniki”.  That’s also the part of Moscow where I grew up.
